On February 13, 2024, a Public Policy Discussion was organized by the Lawyers Hub. The focus of the discussion was Africa’s contribution to the Interim Report on Artificial Intelligence by the UN’s high-level advisory body on AI.

On January 19, 2024, Lawyers Hub conducted a Hackathon in-person, aimed at addressing the pressing issues that Motorcycle Taxis (Boda-Bodas) in East Africa are facing. This Hackathon is a part of the Boda Boda Law project, an initiative launched by Lawyers Hub last year.

rom December 4-8, 2023, Lawyers took part in the UNCTAD eWeek 2023, held at the International Conference Center of Geneva (CICG) in Geneva. The event was themed 'Shaping the future of the digital economy'.
Lawyers Hub Launches Groundbreaking Boda-Boda Law Project Report
During the 2023 Paris Peace Forum, Lawyers Hub's CEO and Founder, Linda Bonyo, represented the organization in a roundtable session titled "Fighting Global Disparities through Equitable AI for Equitable Policies"
On November 7, 2023, our CEO and Founder, Linda Bonyo, represented Lawyers at the Open Data Institute Summit 2023.
At the AI Fringe forum, Linda Bonyo of Lawyers Hub, participated in a panel discussion on "How do we prevent AI from perpetuating privilege and widening gaps in society?"
Between June 5th and 8th, 2023, Lawyers Hub participated in the 12th edition of RightsCon, an international conference focusing on human rights in the digital era.
