Nairobi, Kenya - January 20, 2025
In a strategic move to meet the growing demand for professional development, Lawyers Hub proudly announces the launch of its new e-learning platform, LawTech University. This innovative platform is set to enhance the Lawyers Hub's existing suite of capacity building offerings by providing flexible, online training opportunities.
LawTech University will complement the Africa Digital Policy Institute's offerings, which include in-person and live training sessions, as well as internationally recognized certifications such as the CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
The new platform offers a unique learning experience through video lectures and document references, replacing the traditional live training methods. This format allows professionals to pursue their development at their own pace, with assessments implemented at the end of each module to ensure thorough understanding and retention of the material.
The first course on the Platform is the Pan-African Data Protection course, which examines data protection laws and practices across Africa. The course is self paced, and registration opens today. Don't miss this opportunity to advance your skills and knowledge with LawTech University.
