
Ivy Kinuthia - is a Lawyer and currently works as a Researcher at the
Senate, Parliament of Kenya. She completed the Advocates Training
Programme at the Kenya School of Law in 2019 and holds a Bachelor of
Laws (LLB) from the University of Leeds. Ivy has experience in multijurisdictional research and analysis focusing on legal, legislative, and
public policy issues amassed over a period of six years. She worked at
Salama Fikira - a Pan-African risk management firm based in Nairobi -
where she was involved in research, analysis, report-writing, project
management and events coordination. Prior to this, she worked as a legal
intern at two leading law firms in Kenya. Her primary expertise is in
research, analysis, strategy, and stakeholder engagement with emphasis
on public policy. Ivy has great interest in technology policy particularly its
intersection with the law. She is particularly interested in the areas of
Election and Technology, Technology for Development as well as the
Digital Economy.
